Great sign, made me smile 🙂
We got lost by heading toward Arezzo while trying to get to Montalcino. Three times we got on the same highway and had to turn around – for years after we would laugh whenever we saw a sign for Arezzo and say “Arezzo – Bad!” We missed an appt. for a wine tasting but ended up having a private tour by the vineyard owner so it all worked out – as things usually do. This was before we got the Italian Touring Club map. No GPS for us 🙂
Oh no, Bonnie! I’m sorry that you got lost but that story put a smile on my face. Sounds like you had a fantastic experience at the winery despite missing your appointment! Some of the best experiences can come from getting lost or taking a wrong turn. 🙂
