Ah, ’tis the season! One of my memorable holiday travels was to New York City to stare at the shopping windows decorated lavishly with moving mannequins dressed to the nines, watch the skaters gliding in front of a giant lit Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center, and take in all the hawkers selling everything from Santa hats to roasted chestnuts along the busy streets.
