Above: Just the little bar in the piazza up the street from our hotel in Bellagio: simple but well-supplied. I love how decorative the glass candy jars are!
Above: Venchi is a high-end gelato and chocolate shop with locations across Italy and throughout the world. The window displays are both eye-catching and artistic, and we couldn’t resist getting our daily gelato fix from this Venchi while wandering Verona.
Below: Also Verona, a city more beautiful with every step you take!
Above: Caffè Gilli in Florence, where the windows are always an inviting masterpiece.
Below: Just down from Gilli along Via dei Calzaiuoli is Migone Confetti, which called Daughter and I in for some bite-sized treats. (Look closely, can you find us in the photo?)
Above: A tiny but welcoming market, selling just the essentials, in the San Lorenzo area of Florence.
Below: L’Orto delle Meraviglie, The Garden of Wonders in Fiesole, proudly names its delights: fresh products every morning featuring Tuscan fruits and vegetables, fresh eggs, cheeses, olive oils… che bello!

Very nice – I particularly like the Venchi window display.
